What Do You Think of This?

The Creators recently did a post that, when you read it, you’ll think: What are they thinking?!?!  Though, the Creators must think that we can’t think, because they feel they must explain everything to us.  Even things that hopefully all of us know about.

What is this horrible thing that the Creators have done, you ask?  Well, I’ll tell you.

The Creators…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

………..get ready for it……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

………….the Creators thought that it was necessary to explain to us what a newspaper is.

Now you might be thinking, well that’s not so bad.  But just read how they explain it to us, and you’ll get mad, too.

Sit-down comics

Believe it or not, there was a time when the daily newspaper had pages and pages devoted to comic strips. I know what you’re thinking: “What’s a daily newspaper?”

Used to be that somebody brought a stack of folded papers to your house every day early in the morning, which had all this information about news and sports and things that had already happened, and to read it you had to turn the pages instead of swiping a screen, and — well, it’s not important.

Anyway, we at Poptropica still think that the funny pages are worth your time and attention. That’s why, for some time now, we’ve been publishing some of the very best comic strips in the Daily Pop.

All the best strips are here: Peanuts, Big Nate, Over the Hedge, and many more. They’re updated every day!

If you haven’t checked out the comics on Poptropica lately, head on over to the Daily Pop for a good chuckle. You won’t even get ink stains on your fingers.

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

Come on, Creators.  People still get newspapers.  And even little toddlers who are only two know what newspapers are.

Note to anyone reading this: if you don’t know what a newspaper is, please understand that I did not mean that a two year old is smarter than you.  I just meant that…um…how should I say this…you need to…be a bit smarter?  No, that didn’t even make sense.  Well, just know that I didn’t mean to offend you, and you’re welcome to read more posts while I try to figure out what I should say.
